The best thing I did when I decided to take my writing a little more seriously was to join the British chapter of this organisation - www.britishscbwi.org

I've learnt so much more about the craft of story telling, met fellow writers, illustrators, agents and editors, joined a critique group and simply gained so many like-minded friends, writing is not the lonely hobby it used to be!
